For parents and grandparents
Super Visa insurance
Build a one-year emergency medical plan that meets the insurance requirement for a parent or grandparent’s Super Visa application.
Qualifying Super Visa insurance needs at least $100,000 per person in emergency medical coverage and must be valid for a full year from entry into Canada.
New for 2026: IRCC now gives hosts two ways to meet the income requirement. You can qualify with the full minimum in either of the last two tax years — or, if you and any co-signer earned at least 75% of the minimum last year, your parent’s own documented income can cover the gap. The insurance rule is unchanged: at least $100,000 in emergency coverage, valid a year from entry, paid in full or with a deposit.
We can help you compare published rate-guide options, review deductibles and discuss how pre-existing medical conditions may affect the plans available.
Use the quote comparison to review annual premiums and estimated monthly equivalents, then confirm eligibility and final pricing before purchase.
